Our reusable chilling- or freezer shields are easily attached to the unique lid of the alvobox® – but there are a wide range of passive cooling elements that can be used as a complement to secure the cooling in the alvobox® and ifoodbag®. We offer the right product for each case: chilling or freezer shields, gel-packs, ice-packs, dry ice or Phase Change Materials (PCM).
RED FOR CHILLING
The red passive cooling units are shilling shields used to secure the cooling in the alvobox®. Easily attached to the lid of the alvobox® the cold chain keeps intact for final mile deliveries.

A wide range of passive cooling elements can be used as a complement to secure the cooling in the alvobox® and
ifoodbag® e.g. gel-packs, ice-packs, dry ice and Phase Change Materials (PCM).
Red chilling shield
The red chilling shield is perfectly sized to be attached to the lid of the alvobox® 52L or 151L. It maintains the goods in the box refrigerated for at least 8 hours in up to 35°C (95°F).

Gel-packs
Our cooling elements includes cooling and freezing gel-packs. They are designed to keep your cold chain intact during transport. In combination with, for example, ifoodbag® thermal pouches, one or two gel-packs will keep the content temperature controlled during transportation, ensuring product quality. In warm ambient temperatures as well as in high humidity conditions your products arrive in perfect condition, whether it is chilled or frozen food, medicines, or flowers.
The ifoodbag® range of protective final mile products provide a secure and easy method of packing temperature sensitive, chilled, or frozen products. Our gel-packs are leakproof polyethylene bags, filled with polymer-based cooling gel. The sealed pouch has a strong performance in both burst strength and durability.
